New Volunteers Sought For Exciting Roles On Mackay ASC Committee!!!

We're so thankful for our Mackay ASC committee and all the efforts they put in to seeing kids in our local schools question, discover and explore Jesus. As the committee has considered its next steps, two roles have emerged as key vacancies on the committee. Filling these roles, would help us greatly to continue to pursue our vision of seeing every child in our region who wants to be part of the RI program having that opportunity.

Firstly, we are seeking a Fundraising Champion, who has the connections to be able to speak to businesses about the possibility of donating towards our Registered Tax Deductible Charity for the sake of more children participating in the RI in Schools program. The volunteer would need to be relational, have skills in asking for a response/ commitment and have grant writing skills.

Secondly, we are seeking a Communications Person, who would be able to give time to keep our website and online news moving forward. They would need some graphic design skill and be able to communicate well in written form.

For both roles, having a heart for kids being able to question, discover and explore Jesus, would be essential. Further, as our committee seeks to break new ground, appointing new roles and being flexible to match potential Paid RI candidates with the opportunities opening up in schools, anyone applying for these roles would need to be ok with a level of ambiguity as we figure out the next steps. A level of entrepreneurial attributes would also be helpful. Finally, any potential volunteers for these roles would need to be in a position to ask the church family they are apart of, if they could be the nominated representative on the Mackay ASC Committee.
