Mackay Paid RI Financial Update: Closing the Funding Gap

We are deeply thankful for the donors supporting our paid Religious Instruction (RI) workers. Your contributions allow children in local public schools to learn about Jesus—children who might not otherwise have that opportunity. As Matthew 19:14 reminds us: "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"
It has been an exciting season, with two new paid RI workers employed in the last six months. The regular cost for this employment is $3,600 per month.

Financial Snapshot
In January 2026, our monthly income was $2,595. We are working toward a goal where our regular income fully meets these employment costs, ensuring we do not have to draw down our financial reserves.

Looking Ahead
Matching our current costs is the first step toward our next goal: employing another worker later this year. This expansion would allow us to bring RI programs to new schools that do not currently have one.
